Edge Hill, one of the oldest homes in Giles County, was built in 1826 about one mile southwest of White Gate on Va. 42, better known as the Blue Grass Trail. This picture taken in 1937 shows the story and a half building on the left, which was erected first, and the main house which was built some what later. |
