notes This is a one, two, and three story limestone building with fire resistive floors and roof. Roof of two and three sections is concrete tile on steel beams; roof of one story section is sheet rock on steel purlins on steel trusses. Central Steam heat. All interior division walls are cement brick. Building contains chemical and physics laboratories, class rooms and offices. There is also a large lecture hall. X-ray machine room was being fitted up in basement at time of our inspection. Gas for bunson burners in laboratories is furnished through rigid pipe connections from Pyrafax cylinders located in metal cabinets outside of building. An additional story has been added to the three story section of this building, the roof of this section now being ordinary wood joist covered with slate. An addition has also been made to the one story section at rear, this being of similar construction to the original one story section.
